We are a new congregation in Decatur, Alabama committed to conservative, Bible-based theology. We are seeking an energetic Youth Ministry Director/Youth Minister to help us develop a framework for our student ministry with an emphasis on equipping and discipling future generations for Jesus Christ.

General job requirements, abilities, and qualifications for our position include:

***Having an interest in and a call to youth ministry, love for young people, a passion for Christ, and working with youth in their spiritual development.

***Working and growing as part of a team, under the guidance of our Lead and Executive Pastor, in providing effective, fun, desirable, and intentional Christian curriculum.

***Planning and organizing youth events and retreats and encouraging involvement in things such as Youth Camp, Mission Trips, Retreats, Small Groups, Evangelism, Bible Study Sessions, and other Special Events.

***Strong communication skills and a desire to be part of a growing church. 

***Bachelor’s degree with a possible interest of Seminary in the future.

This position is currently a Full-time position. Part time would be considered under the right circumstances. Salary is negotiable. Candidate needs to be able to reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package.
